The Art & Poetry of Mary Coleman

I liked this drawing a lot and it fit the poem it was for so it’s going in my book. That’s 32 drawings in total, so 18 to go still. My momentum has definitely slowed since October, and I’m really wanting to start something new, but I need to fight my tendency to abandon projects towards their completion and really work on finishing this one. I want to have an entire illustrated poetry book done by mid-December and I’ve been working on it since last February so I can’t just give up at the very end. I have 102 of the 110 poems complete. Been writing every day. I figure if I continue to write a poem every day, I’ll have more to choose from at the end of the challenge and can discard the weaker work.
