The Art & Poetry of Mary Coleman

I don’t really like this one very much but it’s not so bad I can’t share it as an Inktober entry. It just isn’t good enough for my book. I only have two drawings to go. I’ve already got one for tomorrow. Working on getting both the remaining drawings done today so I can just relax the rest of October and focus on decluttering my art studio.

I think being a kid at heart means being really pleased with the little things in life and seeing awe in the big things. The wonder of life you had as a child is hard to preserve the more you see and experience. Everything becomes rote and normal and the big things seem less exciting because you have had similar large events happen before so it doesn’t feel as novel.
