I submitted three poems to an online poetry blog and got accepted. If I’m lucky, they’ll include me in their printed quarterly come summer (they’ve already released the spring quarterly). You can see the website below, but I’ll link it again the day I’m featured.

I am still waiting to hear back on the spring quarterly I submitted to from Vipers Tongue Press. Two weeks ago I sent them five poems, but it could be another week until they actually arrive in the mail. The package has to make its way to England.
Today I am sharing a poem by Louis Simpson that I really liked:

You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
Train, most definitely train. For my 40th we went on a train trip from LA to New York City. Next time I would get a bigger room because we were quite cramped, but it was a great experience overall. You get meals included with the sleeper car fare and we got them delivered to our room every day which was really nice (if you go to the actual diner car you have to share a table with strangers which we did not want to do).
