I have decided to do another Bosch study because I need something relaxing to do. The abstract stuff is really getting me stressed out. I’ll still do it every day (I did one drawing today and also wrote my daily poem), but I also need something that I can enjoy and that is easy. It’s really hard starting from the very beginning on something and that’s what I’m doing with abstract art. As a maladaptive perfectionist, I hate to fail at something an I am indeed failing right now. Logically I know I am benefiting from the failure, and learning and growing, but in the moment it feels awful.

This is the painting I’m going to do. It’s a part of The Garden of Earthly Delights, specifically from the Hell panel of the tryptych.
An outline to fill in.

What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?

Potentially starting work. If I can get a job, which is a challenge in of itself. I have an interview on March 5th for a virtual eligibility technician position working for the state. Hopefully that goes well. They send the interview questions the day before.
