Today I finished the torso, it didn’t take very long to do but I wanted to divide the work of finishing this figure between today and tomorrow because otherwise I might get a little intimidated by the task. I can only paint for short periods, even with Ritalin. Eventually I get a work completed, but it takes about four weeks to get one painting done.
I went on the elliptical for 20 minutes today. That’s my aerobic exercise in for the day. Tomorrow when I finish going on a run (the snow should be gone by then as it’s been raining all day), that will have been 6 days in a row of exercising. Next week I’ll try for 7 days because it really has a huge impact on my anxiety level for the rest of the day.
Today is the first day I have completely cut out ultra-processed food. Previously I had been reducing it to once a day but I’ve been having it at dinner time (often in the form of takeout) and then I feel pretty crummy and anxious the next morning. It really does seem to affect my mood considerably so I am going to try and just not have any at all.
Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?
Not that I know of. I intentionally broke the law when I was around 15 when I went through a short stealing phase and I pretty quickly got caught. After being escorted out of the store by a police officer and paying a hefty fine I never did it again. It was Urban Outfitters of all places. Such a teen-centric place to get caught stealing.
