I gridded my drawing and the canvas today. Tomorrow I will begin drawing on the figures, and I’ll divide that into three days of work because each person is a lot of lines and the process of transferring the drawing onto canvas is painstaking and time consuming. You have to get everything just right or the painting will end up looking wonky. There wasn’t much time to do anything else today. Still, it’s a step in the process done and a little bit of work towards the end goal is better than nothing. No photos today because it’s just a grid.

Today I got up super early to do strength training (I decided to do it today instead of Sunday) because I had the cleaners at 8am and I needed to be finished in time to take a shower and have the house tidied in preparation. This time I used 10 pound weights because I didn’t really feel the 5 pound weights yesterday. My legs were a little sore this morning, but my arms were fine, so I needed more of a challenge. That’s two days of strength training done. Goal accomplished! Now to do three days of running (8 miles total). That will be tomorrow, Friday, and Sunday. I have it all planned with a friend so I will definitely do it.

If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

I would like her to understand how much she is loved and how much she means to me. My dog is my everything because I don’t like children and my maternal instinct is misdirected towards animals.
