Today I drew the lines onto the canvas using the grid and took a Ritalin to help get started with the process because I hate doing it so much. It took a really long time to get anywhere and I’m only about a third of the way finished. I planned out two more days of this so I don’t get overwhelmed trying to get it all done in one sitting. That might lead to procrastination and putting it off, but I don’t think I’ll need a Ritalin for the rest of the drawing because I’ve gotten through the hard part which was just the simple act of starting and getting the ball moving.
I found a much easier way to outline the sketch lines than using paint and brush. This time I’m using an acrylic pen to go over the pencil, and it’s been much faster and easier. It’s better for small details too.
I ran 10 miles today. It was much easier getting started with my friend who ran the first 4 with me. After I got the momentum going, I could continue on for the rest of the jog and it wasn’t that hard. It was a little rainy at the start of the run, but just drizzle really, and it stopped about 30 minutes in.
Yesterday I got most of what I planned to do done, but I did not relax afterwards and ended up sitting in my desk chair from 3pm on just waiting for 4:30 when I could start making dinner. I did cook dinner instead of opting for takeaways so that was good at least.
