I didn’t do any art today. It’s been 10 days of doing art every day and I need a day off or I’ll burn myself out. My next goal is another Bosch study on the iPad. I need a break from PPE work. Also I am giving up Inktober and will instead work on this painting for the rest of October hoping to be finished by the end of the month. This will be a good project for me because I will be gone for two weekends and I can work on this while traveling because all I need is my iPad.

This is the section I am going to do. It’s going to be 8×10 inches and I am not going to do the dismembered legs or boat at the very top.

Someone on Instagram wants to draw me. They asked permission and I said it was okay. I chose out the picture of Margot and I at The Portland Marathon last Sunday. It’s a good one of both of us. If you want to see their art his username on Instagram is @fatdaddioart.

I didn’t end up cleaning today because I realized too late after getting dressed I was not in cleaning clothes and I didn’t feel like changing. Tomorrow I’ll do it in the afternoon. I have to take Margot to the groomers early in the morning, then grocery shopping, then I will clean before I pick up Margot again. Ritalin is going to come in handy because that’s a lot to do in one day without a stimulant to help me keep ahead of everything.

I have started introducing soft, but chewable foods; ground chia seeds in my yogurt, oatmeal, blueberries, and scrambled eggs. For the next 4 months I’m still not allowed to chew on the right side of my mouth so I will have to continue to take small bites of food at a time, but I am not limited in the consistency of the food like I was, although they said no nuts or seeds (the ground chia seeds are powder).

I’ve been a little burned out with running lately. It’s hard to get myself to do runs on my own. I just have to hold out until December 8th and 3 more half marathons between now and then and I’ll have reached my goal of 13 of them this year (one for each mile). After that I’m taking a month off of jogging.

Today’s outfit: A yellow skirt I got at a thrift store about 7 years ago (it has a faint flower print on it you can’t see in the photo), my favorite cardigan, Doc Martins, wool stockings, and my great aunt’s necklace and earring set.
10’32” isn’t great for a short run but I felt really slow and heavy today.
