The Art & Poetry of Mary Coleman

So today and yesterday I did two drawings for the same poem. The second drawing was overworked so I couldn’t use it for my book, but I do like the first one and it fits the writing better than the second one. The poem takes place in the brain and references a fault line going down the middle of the amygdala, so I sort of imagined what that would look like and drew it. I don’t usually draw purely from imagination, but this was an exception.
