So I finished Inktober! Finally. Here is my last drawing and then an overview of everything I did starting the last week of September. I managed to do 37 drawings in total, but two of those I didn’t end up sharing because they were complete duds (but I did put them in the photograph of everything together). It feels a little disconcerting to go from working my ass off every single morning trying to produce a finished drawing good enough to share, to not having that pressure on at all. I can mess up as much as I want now and I don’t have to worry about what I need to post next because I don’t need to post every day anymore. I can just post when I feel like I have something I really want to share. That’s a very freeing feeling.

So I set some goals for November and December. The last two months of the year I want to focus on 4 things: drawing illustrations for my book, experimenting with oil pastel, writing poetry, and following a routine. Here are my goals listed
- 20 illustrations for my book
- 11 poems for my book
- Around 8 practice drawings for my new series
- Follow my routine (incorporating the new habits) for at least 52 of the 61 days
What historical event fascinates you the most?
Probably The Black Death. It’s been a fascination since I was 5 years old. It introduced me to the world of medical history and I haven’t come back since.
