The Art & Poetry of Mary Coleman

So I really liked my drawing for Inktober today. It’s based on a poem I did and it was a little hard to find a good picture of a pay phone with the receiver off the hook like this. I am still a few pictures ahead. I did this one two days ago. I need to be a little ahead because the 19th I won’t be able to draw and there will probably be a day that something doesn’t work out. That’s happened once already and I had to scrap the picture.

Someone who stays out of your way most of the time but when you need to talk to them about something important, they are available. That’s the kind of neighbor I am. I don’t really know my neighbors as friends, but sometimes we do each other favors if one of us goes out of town. Watering plants, bringing out trash bins etc…
