So I completed the second day of Inktober. I’m trying to keep the illustrations simple and easy to complete within the span of an hour. Some of the ones I have planned are much more complex than the one below though, and might take multiple hours.

Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
I remember before I had a computer. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of high school that I got my very first computer. Sure I played computer games at school on the classroom computer, but that wasn’t every day and it was limited to short spans of time. We did have a dedicated computer lab for typing up and printing out assignments which we visited about once a week.
At home, in my computer free house, I did a lot more reading to pass the time than I do now. I played outside a lot and watched TV when my parents weren’t using it. I drew and painted which I still do of course. I wrote in my paper journal pretty faithfully each night.
So I’m on day 2 of my habit change journey. It’s been okay so far, been fighting some procrastination throughout the day but I get things done. It doesn’t come easy like an established habit would, but so far I haven’t struggled. That will change. I get days where I have about zero motivation to follow a routine and eat healthy. This usually happens over the weekend. Week days are easier.
