Edit: I didn’t quite finish the right figure but I shall by the end of tomorrow.

My friend is coming over and I am going to paint while she crochets and we are going to watch Mansfield Park. I am hoping to finish the right hand figure today. No picture to share because I haven’t painted yet. When I finish today I’ll come back and edit this post to add a progress pic.

Today I did strength training. It was the first day I really didn’t want to because some life stressors have come up and it made me want to curl up in an anxious ball and do nothing. But after I worked out the anxiety diminished considerably. I’m still a little anxious but between exercise and meditation, I feel much better than I did initially this morning. I’ve spent the morning with rain sounds playing in my headphones to continually calm me down. Ambient noise has a relaxing effect on me.

What’s your favorite candy?

Probably Ritter Sport with cornflakes in it. I get one every Christmas from Powell’s because that’s the only place I can find it. They’re really yummy.

To-Do-List

  1. Water plants, brush dog’s teeth, put on exercise clothes
  2. Strength train for 30 minutes
  3. Dressed/shower
  4. Go to the store and pick up nibbles and beer for game night tonight
  5. Meditate
  6. Take the dog on a walk
  7. Do laundry and put it away
  8. Make ham, cheese, and corn muffins
  9. Finish painting figure
  10. Dinner, try to eat within calorie goal, no sugar today, minimal ultra-processed food (there’s pizza for dinner so there’s that), fast during the daytime
