Today I took a Ritalin and just powered through most of the grid drawing on the canvas. I needed to get as much as possible all in one go because it’s like ripping off a bandaid, the longer you take, the worse the pain and I truly find this part of the painting process painful. If I draw it out over many days it just makes me super anxious and prone to procrastination. Wednesday I will finish this drawing once and for all. I only have the legs of the right hand figure left which should be pretty easy.

Tomorrow I am getting two more fillings replaced so I won’t have time to do art in the morning. I’ll take my oral sedation an hour before the appointment and then I should be alright. It takes away all the anxiety of getting a shot in my mouth.

I am going to get up super early to strength train because my appointment is at 8 and I need to take my sedation at 7. So I’ll get up at 4am to exercise. That means I’ll go to bed around 8pm tonight. I should still have an hour to read my book before bed and I plan to finish Jane Eyre tonight.

Today’s Schedule:

  1. Up, apply for work, brush dog’s teeth, water plants, eating window opens
  2. 8am running
  3. 8:30 shower/dressed
  4. 9am breakfast (eating window closes) take Ritalin
