I made some progress on my Bosch study. Tomorrow I will try and finish the frame of the throne and Monday I will do the glass bottom. It’s sort of a relaxing project because it’s mostly just putting color and shade down. There’s not a lot of skill involved.
I have started working towards my New Year’s resolutions. There’s a sixth one now which is to be more frugal and only get takeaways once a week and not spend on Amazon but once a month. Christmas was very expensive so it’s time to go into money saving mode.
How have your political views changed over time?
I hate talking about politics so I will answer this shortly and vaguely. No my political views haven’t changed wildly over time. I’m a democrat, I guess, but there’s not much choice in voting. You just have the two parties. It was nice in New Zealand because there were a lot of parties to choose from. I wouldn’t say I align well with either democrat or republican but I think the latter is farther away from what I believe in. I didn’t vote for Trump, but then I also didn’t throw a tantrum when he was elected. What’s the point in getting worked up over something you have absolutely no power to change. When Trump got elected I decided to start donating to a bunch of animal charities because at least that is something where I have the ability to make a difference. That is all I will say about politics.
