I worked on the torso today and finished a bit of it, though I just started the neck and need to work on that tomorrow.

Today I did a bit of the torso and started the neck. There’s still a lot of work to do on that neck area. Tomorrow I will finish that and start the head and goggles. I predict the goggles are going to be tricky as any see-through material is. They have a bit of an aqua tint to them in the photo.

This painting is coming along very slowly because I’ll work on a part of it, then go over it again and re-work the whole thing, only to think it still isn’t working, and try again. It took me all morning to get that torso section to a place where I’m okay with it.

I have been painting with a view of the ocean. My uncle invited me to stay in his condo at Pacific City and it’s been really relaxing. Today I have just been doing art and my husband is here with me, though he has to leave tomorrow as he has work on Monday.

I ran on the treadmill at the gym and I haven’t been running in a long while (well I did a 5k on Wednesday, but before that it had been about a week and a half). My heart-rate skyrocketed because I am a bit out of shape from inactivity and it gave me a panic attack. Really I shouldn’t have been running in the afternoon because physical activity later in the day can trigger anxiety. Fortunately it didn’t linger too long and I am now okay.

There are a ton of bunnies at the campground across the street. They are not at all shy and I think they are accustomed to being fed even though the owners of the area try to encourage guests not to give them food.

Last night I had a really good plate of seafood and tonight we are going to a Mexican place. I’m a bit dubious of Mexican on the Oregon coast in a tiny little town, but there is a burrito place nearby that is really good, so maybe this restaurant is too. I bought some rocky road fudge from the market for dessert.

Bunnies!

My husband looks very angry in this photo.
