The Art & Poetry of Mary Coleman

I’m still working on my new painting. Cloth is painstaking to paint and both figures are entirely covered in it. Fortunately I finished one of the people but the other is about half done at this point. Hopefully I can finish the entire painting tomorrow but that might not happen. We’ll see.

I finished Shift and it was an okay book. Not as good as Wool but middle books tend to not be as strong as the first in a series. Tomorrow when I run I’ll continue to read The Fall of Hyperion which I am about a quarter of the way through.

Wednesday my friend from New Zealand is coming to stay. They are with us for two nights. I’m looking forward to seeing him because we have not seen each other for 6 years.
