The Art & Poetry of Mary Coleman

I ran the Post Canyon half marathon yesterday morning and finished in around 2 hours and 28 minutes. The lap setup wasn’t too bad because my husband waited with Margot in an area that I passed by regularly so I got to see them as I ran which cheered me on. It was a pretty, woodsy course, but I could smell smoke throughout it reminding me that part of the forest nearby was on fire. I wasn’t able to listen to my book because the race forbid earbuds and they said if you wore them, you’d be asked to take them out by the many volunteers

I’m painting the smaller figure still and will be done with it tomorrow. So far I’m pretty happy with how it’s looking.
